An introvert is not simply a person who is shy and quiet contrary to what most people think. Shyness has an element of nervousness, unease and anxiety, and while an introvert may also be shy, introversion itself is not shyness. Generally, an introvert is a person who enjoys being alone and tries to avoid social situations.
As an introvert myself, I enjoy thinking, exploring my thoughts and feelings. We often avoid social situations because being around people drains their energy even if they have good social skills. After being with people for a long period of time, such as at a party, they need time alone to recharge.
Introvert’s idea of a good time is a quiet and peaceful afternoon at home to enjoy their hobbies and interests. It is a great way to regain their energy after being around other people and to simply have the time to explore their own thoughts. A few hours with a good book, movie, or a peaceful walk are great ways to help you feel energized and recharged.
